What is First Baptist Church?

We are an assembly or gathering of followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. We seek to honor God by enjoying God and by leading others to find that same joy. We think that God desires us to live life together according to his purposes of worship, fellowship, discipleship, service and evangelism. We believe and teach that the only way to be right with God is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ alone. We believe a church is not a place you go to, but people in Christ that you share life with. We want people to worship the Lord, partner with other believers, and serve in the world.

Come and experience the real change that Jesus Christ can make in those who follow him. We promise to listen to you and to respond to your questions from the ideas written in God's Word. We are people in the process of change ourselves, who both need and seek to show grace and compassion.

Our Meetings

We invite you to attend the various gatherings of the people of FBC. Our primary public gathering is 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings at 3722 West Chester Pike, Newtown Square, PA 19073.
